----If you've done everything right so far, your desktop should look something like this:

Now you have all the necessary files to construct your custom EBOOT
3. Open PBP Unpacker and click "New"
4. Now we are going to load all the new files into the custom EBOOT
----- a. The first thing to load is the PARAM.SFO file...click on the button with the three dots inside the
PARAM.SFO box and then navigate to where you saved your file and select it:
----- b. Next, we're going to load our custom icon...same thing, except click the button with the dots inside the
ICON0.PNG box:

----- c. Last, but not least, the menu background...again, same thing, but this time, click the button with the dots inside the
PIC1.PNG box:

5. Click the "Save" button, and save you EBOOT.PBP file to your desktop.
6. Drag the EBOOT.PBP file you just saved into the folder of the homebrew we are altering (the one with the "%" sign t hat we originally got the PARAM.SFO file from) and overwrite
(MAKE SURE YOU ARE DRAGGING IT INTO THE FOLDER WITH THE "%" SIGN)
7. Go into the "GAME" menu on your psp and scroll down to the homebrew you just altered...if all went well, you should see results like my example (at the beggining of the tutorial).
enjoy!
note: If you want to make your list look a little nicer, use this program to sort your homebrew icons in the list.

1. Have a game save file on your memory stick from whatever game you would like to change the icon and background image from.
2. Connect your PSP to your computer via USB and set your PSP into "USB Mode."
3. Open the PSP removable disk file on your computer, and open the "PSP" folder.
4. Open the "SAVEDATA" folder, and open the game save folder you want to change the images of.
5. Change the files PIC1.png and ICON.png to what you would like them to be.
6. Disconnect your PSP from the computer and take a look!
I figured out how to do this after reading how siimple it is to copy and add game saves off the internet. It is very easy to do! Also, I found THIS, which tells how to do it as well.
I hope you like it!
PS-this may need to be moved to software. I didnt know which place to put it. |
