Alright I am new here so please bear with me. I downgraded today and then updated to 3.4 custom edition but now I am confused about what to do. I DL'd PSPVBA - 1.0.6 which is supposed to be excellent and it hardly loads the files and if it does everything is sssssssssssssssslllllllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwww ww. I find that odd because I remember a long time ago that the roms I am using worked fine when I had downgraded my friends PSP. I am just wondering what I could possibly be doing wrong...

This thread is very very old. And the emulators hasn't been updated.

Persoanlly, gpSP by far is the best gba emulator I ever used. Runs Castlevania and Zelda at excellent speed. I dunno about other games.

The other emulators I mentioned are the best MAME emulators ever, not a tiny bit lag for the games I played. And it even supports Ad Hoc. Well, what more can I ask, since it plays my favorite D&D w/ multiplayer.

use gpsp 0.9 its the latest.

There is a few gpSP 0.9 though, well to be more specfic, i recommend gpSP 0.9 1.5 EBOOT.

It works for 3.40oe-a. Just drag and drop to your ../GAME150/ folder.

could someone please post a guide for gpSP please? I understand it needs an image for the GBA bios and that is not too hard to get and the locations for finding it is probably something that cannot be stated. However I do not know what a hex editor is or how to get/use one just to play a ROM for the GBA.

sorry I must have misread or had a bad copy it seems the whole hex editing thins is to fix the game play if it has some errors. I think I finally figured it all out. thanks.

This is a great tutorial. When I can my new psp, custom firmware 3.40 OE-A, and my psx eboots, I might have to use this. Good job.

you probably have the 1.0 version i think it works just drop that inside the GAME150 it should work.

I have DGen on my PSP but all the games lag in both speed and sound. What can I do to stop this? I have 3.30 OE-A custom firmware. I downloaded the 1.5 DGen. Do I have e right version of DGen, or do I need 1.0?
