So, is snes9xTYL 0.4.2 the best SNES Emulator available? Is it the latest version or are there some updates I will need with it?

When I click on the download link all I get is a blank white page. wtf?

Edit: Nevermind, I got it to work. Just went to the dl.qj.net homepage and found it from there, and downloaded it with no problems.

Edit: I can't open the file. It's a .rar file. I don't know why I can't open it. Can anyone help me out?

WinRAR if that doesn't work then I don't know.

I just downloaded WinRAR. Fixed that problem.

This may sound like a really dumb question but i've never used WinRAR before. How do I copy and paste files? When I highlight and right click something there is no copy or paste option.

I've got 620 roms I want to put on there though, i'm not gonna drag and drop all of them one by one. Is there any way to highlight them and copy and paste them?

I know the answer for Nes and Snes. The best emu for snes imo is snes9xtyl the latest one. And for nes is NesterJ.

You should also have a working icon aswell. Im pretty sure the corrupted data is the %folder, and you need that for your emulator to work

Have you extracted the files from the RAR folder? Right click the compressed version and then click extract here, then they will just be the normal files

I just got a PSP today and updated it before I knew anything about it. I'm running 3.52 now and I'm wondering what I need to do to get an emulator to work. I can't seem to get any of them to work right. I keep getting corrupted errors. I'm scared to do these downgrading firmware things, last thing I want is my brand new PSP to brick on me (see I'm learnin the lingo =P )

I'm scared to do any downgrading as well and I'm in nearly the same predicament as you; I haven't put anything on the memory stick yet, but I did upgrade to the official 3.52. Sony's a bunch of money-hungry motherf*'s because they don't want you running PSOne games on the PSP off the memory stick unless you buy from them. The only problems with that are:

1.) Not everyone has a PS3 as well as a PSP so that they can do the purchasing + downloading

2.) They don't have all the games you'd want, most likely. I would like to play + download FFT for PSOne. I'm sick of waiting for the new release of it.

i'm really sorry, i know you guys are trying not to get these kinds of questions but i'm a total n00b and i'm completely confused (like what else is new?): i have version 2.80. is there a way for me to run emulators? do i need to downgrade? do i need lumines or gta to downgrade? please help. if i have to buy games to run an emulator, i'm just going to give up b/c i can't afford those games. XD thanks in advance.

when i put zip files in my mame emu it says error no games to play.

I have firmware 3.52 m33 also when i try and play pspmame 0.97 it says when i run the game required files are missing any help?
