Ultimate Emulator FAQ v1.4
Mame roms are in .zip format, mame unzips them when it loads the game. The roms are found on p2p programs. The complete romset is now over 12GB or so. I have all of them, but have found it more convenient to have about 100 of the best to play, because there are now thousands of playable games. |

Ultimate Emulator FAQ v1.4
I am in the process of making Windows 98 SE fully compatible with PSP, I have accomplished: making the screen work full screen, making the mouse work R and L are now right and left click, and tricking Windows into thinking and using the up, down, left, right, x, triangle, square and circle buttons as a 4 button game pad.
I am in the process of making a compatible driver that takes full advantage of the video processor and a compatible WiFi 182.11g/b driver and a compatible sound driver amazingly Windows recognizes the mini USB as a full blown USB I made a converter for it to plug in to it and it needs more Power for it to work unless plugged in to the wall every application in Windows 98SE from solitare, Windows Media Player 10(all formats of music and movies) to P2P programs like limewire(it just ran I couldnt test it) Windows is programmed to think memstick is C: and internal memory of 33mb's as RAM the processor says its an Intel PII 400mhz PIImobile clone(I overclocked it from 333mhz,it ran a little faster)
To prove it, ill tell how I did it. I loaded the x386 emulator then when I got my 2 gig memstick I put the install files copy paste on to the memstick on my PC from win98SE CD clicked setup and boom it worked the mouse worked and I could see the screen that was a good sign! after it started it and it loaded the installation files it went to restart BAD it would restart on the PSP it was a X386emu and it needed to boot into DOS, x386emu doesnââ‚ƚ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t go DOS so lucky I set my PC to "boot from USB device" and made it first boot object GOOD sign it started and loaded on my computer until the restart after, putting in the user name, key code, region and domain. Then it would boot into windows again witch was x386 so it worked it loaded the rest of the with out any problems. Then I started to make and modify the drivers to work better and on my PSP
P.S. Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢m not going to release any beta homebrews cause if it messes up your PSP ill feel bad, But If you want you can follow my instructions and do it yourself and if your a programmer help me out with the sound drivers and the WiFi drivers if you do it email me at yahoo for help too if ya need it |

well the major thing is that since you are emulating x86 you dont get the full 333mhz directly in windows, its no news that you can run windows on a psp, it is however VERY slow because of the emulation.. are you saying it runs smoothly and doesnt take about 15-30min to boot? if thats the case post a video about it and some more detail, maybe start a new thread about it and hopefully it will grow. but if you just have booted win98 on the x86 and think you're on to something new sorry to disappoint you but thats nothing new
EDIT: thanks for the mame info vvlist

Ultimate Emulator FAQ v1.4
Please help kill me now...not a noob when it comes ot forums and searching....but after a couple hours you get fuckin drained and aggrevated when you can't find what your lookin for exactly...PLEASE someone fucking explain how to make the gen emulator work for my 2.0 using the eboot 2.0 loader in some sort of fucking detail instead of just....To use:
- Extract all the files into the root folder (e.g. "F:\") of your memory stick.
- Copy an EBOOT.PBP file to the \psp\games\boot\ folder of your memory stick.
- Use the PSP's built-in photo viewer to open the "EBOOT loader" folder, this will cause the loader to start.
- After a few moments, the loader will either display an error message, or give you the option to run the application.
please just have a fuckin step by step for shits and giggles if anyone feels like it.... i guess you all have to ignore the not a noob part now.....oh well, we live, we learn...we help...thanks |

pinggoy18- you can download videos and movies and stuff and put them on your psp by downloading a program such as pspvideo9 from www.pspvideo9.com all you need to do is click one click transcode, select your video from your my videos folder on your pc or wherever you have a video saved, then wait for the program to convert it, then click copy (on the left of the screen) then in the box on the left of the screen where it has all the buttons below like "delete video" and stuff click your file in the box, then below the button "copy video to psp" should light up along with some others like "play video on pc" click the transfer video to psp button and your away.
p.s- your psp has to be onto the usb connection setting and connected to your computer, and if your video does not appear in the box (this usually happens if it was originally an avi) click the downwards button at the top of the screen that has SP folder written next to it and select AVC folder, if its already on the AVC then reverse this process. |

Ultimate Emulator FAQ v1.4
Short story - I got 2.6, the EBOOT, SNES9XTYL, and GTA.
I load the eLoader, I select TYL, and it loads. After I accept terms, it says error reading memory stick and then displays a screen that you would select a ROM. It shows none of the roms I have. I placed the .SMC files into PSP/GAME/ROMS/SNES, get nothing, and then it crashes about 8 seconds if I press any buttons. |

Update - this eLoader took out all my music too. It worked fine, but now it all is labeled as corrupt data. And this is all Sony's ATRAC codec.
EDIT: Formatted, replaced savedata, photos, and movies. Lost my 75 songs for good.
Let me know when this thing works. Until then, I'm not risking my files again. |
