what kind of mod-chip does it have?

10-07-2011, 12:25 AM Okay, so I may be really dumb but hopefully some kind soul out there can help me.
I have a modchipped psp, 3.71 if that helps. I used to use it years ago, and just brought it out again, I have formatted the sd card and tried installing games that I downloaded.. a couple .cso files.
I saved the files into the "GAME" folder, and it is not working.. do I need to install any kinda hack or something to make it work again.. I am just so clueless.

10-07-2011, 12:44 AM make a folder named iso and put it ion the root of your memory stick and put the games in there only hombrew gose in to the game folder and on a side note ive never seen any one with a modchip in the psp so if its on 3.71 i dont know if you can just upgreade to a current cfw most new games are not gonna play on such an old cfw

I dont care to play any new games, if there are any.. some old games that were out back when I got this psp.
Im currently trying the iso folder thing, will see if it pans out.

10-07-2011, 01:08 AM The modchip is called Undiluted Platinum and only works on Phats with a TA-082 motherboard. It allows you to dual boot firmwares and is essentially an extra NAND that rides on top of the PSP mobo's NAND and is selectable.
If this guy truly does have a UP chip that is... they are pretty rare.

I'm pretty sure it was installed in the psp, it was given to me as a gift.. seems pretty sweet either way.

dual-booting firmwares can also be done via Time Machine also. its the other features like 2nd flash which makes it cool.
