PSP 1000 update suggestion.

I haven't updated my psp in a very long time, and I've been wanting to update it. But don't know which version I should update too and I'm needing some suggestions. Right now I have a psp 1000 model with cfw 5.50 Prome-4 I'm hoping I can update to a cfw version that will let me play Phantasy Star Portable 2 online. Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Please include links if possible to where I can get the updates. Thanks

go to PSP GUIDE by Pirate on my sig . scroll down to section 4.3 do the GEN bypass first(2nd method easier) then go back to section 4.1(red fonts) to update to the latest 6.60 ME-1.6
