Just bought a 2000 PSP, it currently has 3.03 firmware on it, unsure where i go from here, have got a 1gb memory card, with an 8gb one due for delivery sometime this week...

Have read through the guides and tutorials sections, but a lot of it is pretty mind boggling to a newbie like myself...

Is it best to wait and use the 8gb or just use the 1gb? I mean does the firmware install onto the PSP itself or is the card required with it on?

Ah awesome, then is it a case of using the guides to be able to put my own movies and snes/psone games and emulators etc?

Yeah just make sure that the guide goes with your CFW Version, it shouldn't make a difference in most cases but its just something to think about.
In an Ideal world I would have all ten fingers on my left hand and my right hand would just be used for punching.

I'll be the number two guy here on PSP MOD in six weeks, How? Name repition, personality mirroring and never breaking off a handshake. I'm always thinking one step ahead like a...carpenter that makes stairs.

Cheers again, no real major questions except if its possible now to just drag and drop movies and original PSP games onto the card itself

yes it is possible. iso/cso game back ups still go into the ISO folder at the very root of the ms and compatible video formats(mpeg4/wav/psp) will go to video folder.
