Question ISO CFW update? PSP 1002, 4.01 MM-2, Error 80020148

Hello, I've managed to find my old .Iso's for my 1002 PsP and I'd really like to play them now the problem is, they won't run and I get an error 80020148.
Basically saying "The game could not be started" A friend of mine used a Pandora Battery on my 1002 and downgraded the firmware to 4.01 M33-2, he's also experiencing the same problems with his .ISO's

I've done quite a lot of research to hope not waste to much of your time, I'm highly positives it's not a corruption on the ISO side but likely has something to do with the Firmware I'm running. I see threads usually redirected to Pirate's THE ULTIMATE PSP GUIDE for answers and I've looked through this guide. Additionally I've tried the various possible solutions to error 80020148 such as switching the NO-UMD, kernel etc without any luck.

I know this question is likely asked a lot but what should my next step be?
I'd like to set my psp with a high stable/known version of CFW, also avoid bricking the actual psp (of course).
Ultimately I'd like to be able to play my backed up ISO's again and perhaps update the theme a little ctf/xmb/whatever.

The game could not be started
If you're under an Official Firmware you can't run homebrew, downgrade/upgrade to an Custom Firmware.

P.S: No trolling please, I know the thread/guide contains most the information I'm asking for anyway, however I'd like a more personal feedback to this question

I would personally update your firmware. As far as the ISO's go, open up your VSH menu and see if your "UMD ISO MODE" is set to "m33 Driver"

EDIT: Update to 6.60 OFW and then use this:6.60ME-1.8 (OFW Version) - Downloads - PSPMOD.com - PSP Forum, Hack PSP, PSV Hacks, PS Vita Hack, PSVita

I having the same problem with Skyges here. But after i download the 6.60 OFW, put it in PSP/GAME/Update/, then try to run it says file corrupted. Is there anyway to solve this?

Planning to play FF4 completed here, experiencing with 80020148 -_-||

go to settings/system update and click update via storage media and it should find it and update or else just redownload and put it again
