They're more or less the same I recommend PRO-B, however.

Hiya. Basically, I was feeling nostalgic and dug my PSP out of the closet, hoping to get back into the PSP scene again. To my surprise, I see there are new CFW's out.
I'm currently looking at 6.60PRO-B10 and 6.60ME-1.8 (OFW Edition).
But I'm having some trouble deciding on which and why. It's my understanding that PRO is open source and has really high compatibility, but ME-1.8 might be 1 click update-able and may have just as good of compatibility.
What are the benefits of going with one over the other? And how difficult might the upgrade be/chances of bricking? I still have my pandora battery, but I wiped my MMS in order to use it for games. So if there's any abnormal risk, I might go out and buy the cheapest duo stick I can find and make another before upgrading. I've already read the "ultimate psp guide" on this forum btw, very nice collage of information.
Info about my PSP: PSP-2001, TA-088 v1/v2 according to PSPident 0.4 (scary black screen pandora boot ftw). Currently running 5.50 GEN-D2, unable to run PSX titles like FF8 and probably a lot of newer PSP games, hence my interest in upgrading.
Thanks for reading, and for any advice you can part with. This seems like a pretty cool site.
They're more or less the same I recommend PRO-B, however.
