Hello! So... Here's the situation. Awhile ago I got a PSP2000, and my friend hacked it for me, to put on the pro-recovery thing and a Monster Hunter game. Today, that PSP broke so I went out and got a new PSP3000. I put the memory card into the new one, started it up and went to pro recovery. But for some reason rather than doing what it normally does, it just turned off. Please be aware I know NOTHING about hacking, how to use mods or programs on computers or anything, so... If you could please use simple terms for me to understand how to solve the problem, it would be very appreciated. Also, if there are any ways of getting the pro recovery and the game to work without having to download stuff, that would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Wait.. It does have a recovery menu, though. I go to game, down to memory stick, open that and it says '660 PRO-B Fast Recovery', with the little white icon that says the same thing. When I click that, it goes black for a second, then turns off.
So, what would you recommend that I do to fix it?
ok your talking about the recovery app i got you well did you even run the installer first or did you think you could just use the memory stick and pop it in and think you could recover on a new system nope so i reccommend you run the 6.60 pro be installer first then when ever you shut down the psp you will then run the recovery app
Thank you! So, how do I run the installer? Sorry, I know literally nothing about programming.
here what i want you to do is delete the recovery app form the psp then download and extract this 6.60LME-1.8 - Downloads - PSPMOD.com - PSP / PS Vita Forums
place the installer and launcher folder in your psp.game folder then goto memory stick on the xmb and run the installer and follow the instructions on screen then whenever you shut down the psp run the launcher like you would the recovery app from pro i prefer this LCFW better
Thank you so much! One quick question though, will I lose the game or my progress on it if I delete the recovery?
no you wont lose the game but you will lose the save
Wait, so I would have to start over? Is there any way I could get it back without losing my progress?
