So, it's been probably 6 years since I even touched my PSP. I just saw Screen Replacements were 15$ on Amazon...cheap enough for me to consider repairing it.(My PSP's screen is rather scratched, and at the time, replacement was -not- cheap)

Anyways, on my old 1GB stick, I had some old stuff like DeviceHook 0.46 or something...that I used to use to boot up games I had downloaded. Can't remember for the life of me how it worked or anything.

My PSP is a 1.5 1001 model. I remember buying it at the time, because people were raving about 1.5's.

All I found is out-dated guides. There are perhaps, a few games I want to play, are there any updated instructions? Where should I start looking to run newer games, a guide to setting up the firmware and such? Thank you and sorry if I asked the wrong questions or in the wrong area. I ahve a spare battery, if that helps, as I read around about a "PAndora battery"

Can you please explain this, or link to a guide on how to install the latest CFW? So that I can run .iso's and homebrew? Thanks.

Also, I formatted my PSP Memory stick, and now it's write protected, no matter what I do...
