    OFW VS 6.XX PRO C-2 VS 6.60 LME/ME 1.8 (6.39 LME/ME 9.8)

    FEATURES
    Features that both PRO & ME CFW have that don’t appear in OFW:

    *Play ISO/CSO games from MS
    *Homebrew Compatible – Play unsigned apps made by 3rd party developers
    *Plugin Compatible
    --XMB plugins
    --GAME plugins
    --POPS plugins
    *PSX Emulator – Play classic PS1 games
    *Custom UMD modes
    *Change CPU speed – overclock or under clock to speed it up or save battery (actially not neccessary, but some may find a differnece if clocked at 333/166)
    *Speed up MS – boost MS read/write speed (mostly made for the fake MS)
    *Fake region – make the psp identify itself from another region (good for playing PSN games from another region)
    *Toggle USB via Recovery – Manage files if you brick it
    *Battery charge from USB - charge the battery from USB (bet you didn't know that)
    *Skip Sony logo at boot
    *Skip Gameboot logo
    *Hide Corrupted icons
    *Autorun PBP’s at bootup
    *Hide MAC Address
    *VSH menu and Recovery Menu
    *Protect Flash in USB mount (put a lock on modifying files from Flash0 in USB to resist nOObs from bricking their console)
    *Use network Update (for updating the CFW, not the actual version)
    *Hide PIC0 & PIC1 in XMB (background images when selecting a game on XMB)
    *Use version.txt (change the way the psp identifies it’s version, useful for downgrading or when trying to play a game which requires a update)
    *change between MS, flash0, 1, 2, 3, UMD (copying UMD's) in USB mode for
    *Plugins Manager (manage what plugins are active/inactive without connecting to computer)
    *Registry Hacks
    --Button assigns (swap X with O)
    --Activate WMA
    --Activate Flash player


    Only in PRO:
    *Open source SDK
    *Registry Hacks
    *Support for 6.20/6.35/6.39/6.60
    --delete hibernation on GO
    *iso drivers
    --Inferno
    *custom VSH/recovery fonts
    *use custom html save location (save a file anywhere on the MS when downloading from internet)
    *use slim colour on 1000 (unlock more colors on the 1000, though extra plugins are still required)
    *use usbversion.txt (when connecting to PS3)
    *prevent hibernation deletion on GO
    *hide CFW files from game
    *Block analogue input in game (disable analogue stick in game)
    *Allow Non-latin1 ISO file name
    *old plugin support (for GO)
    *Inferno and NP9660 use ISO cache (useful for the PRO online client if disabled)

    (p.s: 6.60 ME 1.8 is exactly the same as 6.39 ME 9.8)

    There are several things which I forgot to add the moment I edit so these are just "rough" comparisons.

    Both LME and PRO are supported for ALL PSP models.
    The subject of whether they support permanent or not is another topic.

    pro servers? if I understand correctly do you mean the Pro C online client plugin which converts ad hoc to infrastructure? then yes I have, I play metal gear (works really good) and socom 3 and MHP3rd (doesn't work 100%).

    just added a survey for anyone who want to vote

    oh, and the reason I haven't done any speed benchmarks, is because there is no difference at all.

    EXCEPT, that the LME launcher is 1.5 seconds slower than the PRO, and it takes a little longer for ME to enter recovery menu via VSH. that's it!
