Hello and thanks in advance for checking out my thread. Alright so I got a psp 1001 in a trade yesterday, and I really wanted to put some of my ps1 games on it. I did some research about converting them into eboot and was successful at doing such and copying them onto the memstick. However, when I try to load them I get a screen talking about how the game has been converted to play on the psp, a black screen for a few secs, and then an error message (copyright invalid). I was told it was already modded, but im not entirely sure about things like cfw ( I know it refers to custom stuff and no the ofw, but I have no idea in terms of compaitibility in terms of what im trying to do.) I just want to play ps1 games on my psp, please halp.

    Key info
    psp 1001
    version 6.35 pr0
on the memstick the mod is called 635 HEN by coldbird and VF
I put popsloader on it yesterday

Do i need a different CFW, or am I just missing something?

Honestly, for starters, I would update to 6.60 and then either use 6.60ME-1.8 or 6.60PRO-C1fix3

Well I upgraded to 635 hen pro b2 and can now play my ps1 games, apparently hen pro didnt have the ability. What are the advantages to updating?

Alrighty, one more question if you don't mind. How do you get around r2 l2 buttons, playing silent hill and these monsters are kicking my buns cause I cant sidestep, also cause the dpad sucks for moving, is there anyway other then the game options around this?

hen pro is only a homebrew enabler. dot.
what exactly do you mean b2? there's no such thing, the latest stable release is B10, and the latest nightly is C2.

there is NO difference between 6.35 & 6.60 except A LOT of security patches and a app "Qriocity"

    I'm running 6.35 PRO C-2 myself too.

As a Silent Hill & Twisted Metal Series Lover,if you turn joystick or analog into left that is L2,if you turn joystick or analog into right that is R2 and if you turn joystick or analog into up that is L2+R2
