upms is a utility to create a magic memory stick. it also instals an ipl to boot your psp with a pandora inside. it installs 3.80m33-5

the last upms didnt help me with my brick...hopefully this version will work..

That's sucks that you could that you could not get it to work, I had trouble install it to my memory stick but got it to work fine once I got it installed to downgrade my fat to 3.80M33, I will give this one a try.

Hey, can someone help me out with something? If I installed this and everything (menus, etc.) seems to load with my magic stick and Pandora battery then everything (downgrading, unbricking) should work, right? Right now I installed this on an extra memory stick to test before erasing my main magic stick (only works on phat PSP) to update it with this. My NAND backups should work with this right? But how would I use my idstorage_backup/backup.back file and folder in here?

When you get it on your Memory Stick, you had to go to "GAME" > "Memory Stick" and install it through the eboot. If you really had a brick, thats why it didn't work, or you didn't hold "L" on boot-up long enough...
