This has been announced since 2006 and was just going to be a dungeon crawler. It wasn't gonna be anything like Oblivion. And then it was rumored that it was going to be cancelled back in November of '07. Nothing's happening with this game.

IGN thinks game has been Cancelled

Hopefully it will come out because the list of PSP games this year is bleak but I'm definitely not holding my breath. Thanks for the late update.

Cancelled. Though IGN states that its TBA in 2008. Probably not gonna happen though. Not to jinx it, I'd love to see ES:O on PSP... gaaah

it's not pso its psp(phantasy star portable)
the battle system is going to feel very similar to psu.
release date: 07/31/08 JP
expect the game to be out in english after 1-2 year(s) due to the popularity of the series

Ahhhhhhh they should hurry up and translate Star Ocean to English! >< I was it while in Japan at the start of this year... I also saw Patapon there as well and was wondering how the hell you played it... xD Man they had some awesome titles that'll never be translated into English. I was sad when I saw them...

A lot are but not all Japanese are into that stuff, there are airport sims, train sims... and then you have some crazy RPGs, some arcade type fighting games (zomg, i went into sooo many arcades and I spent so much there....) And then not to mention, the racing games. And then you have some psp programs that teaches you things. The DS is exactly the same... Thousands of games... Ahhhhhhh... I want to go back to Japan now... T__________T
