Team Typhoon and group lead Davee have made good on their promise to deliver a properly working version of the universal homebrew enabler known as ChickHEN, initially released yesterday. For those in need of a refresher, this enables homebrew support on firmware 5.03 for all PSP revisions, including the PSP-3000 and TA-088 v3 equipped 2000 units. Despite being hampered by bugs the first time around, R2 turns the tables with proper, fully-functional homebrew support. Users are advised to stick to using 3.X kernel based applications, as older legacy software based on the 1.5 kernel will have issues with running from within the HEN environment.

How I got it to work.

1) Turn on PSP
2) Go in suspend mode
3) Come back from suspend
4) Go to Photos
5) Open Memory Card
6) Wait without scrolling.

there is no way in hell it only works by giving the devs ur mac address, it doesn't work for u cos it takes a few goes before it works

Try a complete reboot, run a few umds, get it so the tiff is 6 outta 8 pics in the folder then try it. Just stuff I've seen posted around the net

What can you do with the Hen? I read the CAN NOT DO list and it seems to cover nearly everything

R2 can run basic homebrew, like pspfiler etc etc. Just not ISO/cso, cfw updates, plugins and a few more

ok guys i have this working fine make sure u have the folder chickenhen in images not just the files u need the folder, u cant scroll either just wait the screen will go all funny and mem lights flash then will reboot in hen. the homebrew i have tested and got working is halo, jelly car, gba emu n64 emu and thats just wat i have tested, any1 else got working apps and games

YES the folders are correct, but when i go into the chicken folder under photo on MS, it doesnt flash or go mad or anything, it just freezes then shut down.

could that be the problem?

thats what happens if u scroll are u sure u have the folder chickenhen and u chose slim or fat correctly it will work, and whatversion u on
