Just sell your psp 3000 to some non-modder kid for like the price of a psp 2000 then look for a hackable 2000 model.

Done.... psp 3000 is the same as 2000 anyways just way lighter, cheaperly made, mic, and slightly louder speakers.

Incorrect, the screen quality is also a lot better and you can hook up the 3000 to your TV/monitor and play games on it. The 2000 only lets you play movies on the TV/monitor.

I'm keeping my 3000.

Ive heard about the eLoader on the DA forums from m0skit0, but he dont wanted to speak about it. He said something that you can run homebrew with it (hope iso and cso too). maybe u know more?

I started with a PSP 3001 4.21

1) Upgraded to 5.03 OFW

2) Applied ChickHEN R2 - Worked

3) Applied 5.03GEN for HEN CFW

At this point it worked great! played ISOs & everything...

4) Rebooted PSP

Now it says it's back to 5.03 OFW and chickHEN won't work anymore (it just crashes the psp when i try)

... help? please?

you do know that you should not power off or reboot the psp when you are using a ChickHEN because thats how it works ..

i suggest you restore your psp again to default .and then use ChickHEN again .

and its normal when it crash several shots .

I've tried to re-apply chickHEN several times (over 30 tries at least) and it just freezes, then goes black and shuts off.

Do you know how I can restore my psp to default so that I can redo the chickHEN r2 mod successfully?

It takes a long time, I've done it will over 100 times (seriously). There's lots of different methods you can try to try and get it to work right.

I appreciate the help on this.

I've tried another memory card that only has the 2 files for chickHEN r2 on it just as I had them on the original card:

MS\h.bin
MS\PSP\PHOTO\slim.tiff

Whenever I have a few minutes I try to open the picture and apply chickHEN but it's still freezing just before it loads the thumbnail and crashing.

If you have any other ideas I'm all ears, and thanks again.

You're all ears. Use eyes, i believe they are better....
