I meant your anti-piracy measures. They never work, just look at all the different ones people have come up for with DVDs, BluRay, PC Games, Console games etc etc. They always get bypassed.

Yeah, I am pretty sure nintendo is the master of it for DS games... I cannot believe that the new Mario and Luigi game had over 60 anti-piracy checks! on every area there was something that checked for a legit card, if it found an R4 or any other flash cart, it would lock out the controls! we bypassed it a long time ago but damn! we actually needed firmware updates no patch was ever made to bypass it!

I thinkt he point is some people are assuming that the reason for all this was to simply block out CFW users. When in all reality, even if CFW did not exist, anyone without the latest FW would have this issue.

A secondary effect of this change is that CFW users are fooked. Then again, I could give two shits as I never access the PSN. Everythign I gain with CFW vs far outweighs what I lose by not getting onto PSN.

Now, I both hate and don't blame Sony for not supporting CFW. I hate it because I would think if I were them I would support it as it adds a ton of features to the PSP at little to know cost of them. I understand though that they wouldn't because they think piracy is going to cost them a bundle.

Never have used the PSN and never will. 4.01 M33-2 is absolutely fine for me.

I just found my old 2K, has 3.60M33.
And i though 4.01M33 was old...
