maybe because of a fake memory stick...
also try changing the umd-iso mode..

are you using an iso or umd??

i had the happen recently, i went into VSH menu and switched it to M33 driver and the games played afterwards

Don't bother messing with your CFW. It seems to be a driver issue. I have no issues running the ME drivers and version 1.8 of 6.60ME.

well i think your software has been corrupted it can be due to poor quality of memory being used by you ..... u will need to replace yor memory and install the latest version 6.60 pro it will start working

can you tell me whats the configuration of your psp 1001 and your memory??? There is a problem in your setting thats why its not responding to game you will have to reinstall your settings for this
