Hi all,

I had really bad time with this site PSP Repair Service - sonypsprepairs.co.uk founded by Mr Richard Hardy from Ludlow. I am from uk and damaged my rear chassis. I paid £45.99 so he can change the psp rear chassis for me. I provided him with my white faceplate, trigger buttons, and asked him to change everthing to white at the back. He did that but intentionally by deception deliberately not replace the damaged rear chassis. Be it white or black.

So I resent psp and sent him loads of emails. After 3-4 weeks, I offered to pay. So I paid £35.26 on top of the £45.99 I already paid.

So thats like £81 now and it been 2 weeks and he not responding to my emails. He has my psp too. This is fraud PSP Repair Service - sonypsprepairs.co.uk

Unfortunately cos of the delay I was unable ask paypal back £45.99 first payment as its over 45 days. I am currently lodged complaint to paypal for the £35.26 i paid 2 weeks ago. Can i still get back the £45.99 i paid? My psp is still in his hands. It doesn't look like I be getting my psp back as he not responding to my emails and taken in all £81 from me.

ln8 6aq bboo9@aol.com) has sent my psp today and I am hoping to receive it tommorrow.

Hey I was thinking of going there myself as I had my car booked for major 60000 miles service. I would of drove coutesy car there to give him a shout. It will only costs me fuel although that would of been a lot from uk.

Still a shame it costs me £81 for his services though. Hopefully there no more deception when i get it tommorow

My psp didn't arrive today 4 September. Mr R Hardy said he would post it yesterday special delivery as agreed which I paid for already. Fortunately for now, I did not stop the paypal claim yet as he asks me too. (he has however provided tracking number in response to my escalated claim in the paypal response to my dispute)

then again he could be deceptive before it could just be the special delivery sticker where you put the address down and not post it yet. It should of arrived today. Here hpoing it arrives tomorrow, until it arrives I will cancel paypal claim.

Length of time (Jul 8 first payment £45.99 (Over 45 days non claimable)
(Aug 20 second payment £35.99 I am in dispute)

You shouldn't stop the paypal claim, this guy scammed you and he owes you. Turn him into the correct authorities (in the US, Dept. of Consumer Fraud, I don't know about the UK) hopefully once you get it.

Good luck on getting your PSP back. Next time try to fix it yourself, and in an extreme case try to have someone locally fix it, or someone really trust worthy on the internet.

I checked consumer direct uk to help me out and will write a letter recorded post to Richard Hardy if my psp doesn't arriver this week and further to that, will state to paypal the tracking reference he gave me in response to my complaint in paypal dispute is void as it wasn't posted that monday 3/9 he implied to paypal it may been posted already. As I am writing now, I have not received my psp. Consumer Direct I have written email to them, thanks guys and given ref WM156 061 EF I spoked to consumer direct and he too said I should not paid £35.26 on top as £45.99 in my continous email thread to him is definitely include rear chassis fitted despite he omitting it by deception in the Jul 8 invoice. The £45.99 deal does include rear psp chassis fitted and they recommended I should take this up to the trading standards too. As it stands it fraud he still has my psp. Later in the week I will post email thread of all responses and how he was and is deceptive.

Today I received my psp finally it here at last. Firstly it was sent 2nd class recorded delivery which is not what I paid for. I paid £4 extra included in the price for special delivery which Mr Richard Hardy did not do (if including both times £45.99 and £35.26 charged it amounts to £8 knocked off the price)

I was shocked!!!!!!!!! After 2 months of trying to get rear chassis replaced, I find the umd door is cracked at the top. Those type of damage can only be done through repair or swapping with a damaged umd door. I also specifically asked the screen to be dust free, which he couldn't be asked to do.

The picture clearly shows the job isn't up to scratched. I intend fully persue the £35.26 off Richard Hardy and have sent the letter already to him which he should receive today. I also intend to take this up to trading standards if I dont get my £35.26. The truth will come out, dont trust this man who refers himself as they, we, no telephone number.

Soon I will highlight his deception.

Please give me quote. Whilst trying to change analogue joystick few times too many using replica Philips screwdriver 0 that came with new faceplate, damaged one of the screw ends so yank the faceplate and one of the back of
chassis is damaged(battery side). Nothing is wrong with psp everything fine, just dust sometimes gets in more as one of the six screw back chassis is damaged. Although I can now do analogue everytime (just apply pressure), regret damaging the back chassis. Pls give me quote on replacing the back chassis including P&P.

REPLACE REAR BACK PSP CHASSIS
Thanks for fast reply. My friend has bought me new faceplate, can you put that on at the same time when you replace the rear back chassis. Putting faceplate is easy, but I dont want to buy set of philips screwdrivers and am hesitant in using the replica one in case it damages the screw ends. Is that still the same price? Also I want to keep my firmware so I can still play homebrew stuff.

yes 32.99 and the firmware will stay the same.

I just won left trigger button on ebay. Can you fit that on the same time as the one I have has slight dent on it. That is the final adjustment. The price is the same right? Thanks for responding to my emails

chasis. Also to fit your new faceplate, left trigger that you will supply.

Hi Richard Hardy,

I received psp today, thank you very much!!. Unfortunately I didn't get the
rear chassis replaced which was the main reason for sending it in the first
place. Its still the same damaged one used as the screws are still messing
as a result of me yanking the old faceplate. Still means dust can get in
from inside the right trigger as its not tight everytime I stick it in the
psp wallet. I wanted the back bit to be all white(not just umd door, memory
compartment, battery lid). Also I specifically asked for it to sent special
delivery. Both these things I requested I paid for and not got in return.
Pls respond I really wanted the rear back chasis replaced. Pls check my
original email. That was my very first question and throughout the email. I
still have that email if you wanted me to resend it. If I knew the rear back
chasis wasn't going to be replaced at all, I would of asked my friend in Hk
to get me new one for £75 easily instead of paying £45.99 with
no special delivery. Pls can you sort this out by way of partial refund or
arrange a delivery for the rear chassis to be replaced. That the main reason
for me sending it in the first place to have the damaged rear chassis
replaced with a new one.

Also replied to your paypal invoice to your aol email address that you have to replace rear chassis as originally agreed. Pls arrange solution to this. Can I send back my psp?

rear chassis but that was to late as we had all ready agreed on a price
before hand.

I am clear as my concience. It obvious the rear psp chassis was to be
replaced. The same email tread continuously stated psp chassis to be
replaced. Psp chassis was the one that initially requested and implied
throughout. The price was agreed on replacing psp chassis+special delivery.
It was not late as work didn't start and besides you sent the invoice to my
other email which meant you read the form prior to fixing it. I also emailed
your aol address and got no reponce and so I understood you knew. Besides
PSP rear chassis doesn't cost £30 not including fitting. You can buy it for
£5 sale on the internet.

ok you tell us where you can get them for 5 pound and i will get one and fit
it for free.

hi you do there Reclaimed so there will be marks on it no wonder there cheap
a brand new one is more like 30 pound i can get a second hand one cheaper
then that.

At this stage I sent my psp the following day for it to be fixed properly with the rear chassis replaced and this also marked the start of the non communications for 4 weeks

My psp is currently being repaired by you with the damaged rear chassis
replaced with a newish/mint condition white rear chassis as agreed. Thank
you for finally honouring to do that origianl deal, but I sent it over 3
weeks now.

If I dont hear from you by this weekend, I will go to Ludlow and will incur
heavy fuel expenses. Pls reply asap as there is no communication. Hey, I
will offer to pay postage costs if you send it me within the week.

hi in are orginal deal we did not say we would replace the rear chassis with
a white one we told you it would cost 35 pound if you are will to pay then
we will be willing to do the work.

(He didn't replaced the rear psp chassis be it white or black when I received it 20 July 2007) I said all white at the back in the original deal and the replacemnt of the rear psp chassis is what iniated the quote.
