Just wanted to add my 2 cents about this site. I finally recieved my Pandora battery I bought from them. Took right at 2 weeks to receive and of course not from Missouri, it was shipped from Hong Kong. So I would stay away from them. If you don't care where it ships from, you can order from Deal Extreme and get it in the same time cheaper. |

I bought my pandoras and 1gb mms from pandorabatterybuys.com, was told it shipped in 2-3 days and arrived within a week. after the 1st week they asked me to give it another week and theyd send me another if it didnt show by then. I asked for a tracking number and was told they didn't keep records of tracking numbers. After the 2nd week they asked me to give them another week. I asked for my money back until it showed up and they told me no. I filed a complaint with paypal and pandorabatterybuys magically came up with a tracking number, I finally received mine after a month. Yes it did get to me, and yes, their customer service sucks!!!

"They are legit, however, they just dropship from Dealextreme.com"
What does that mean?

Hey guys, I'm clearly very new to the PSP mod scene as this is my first post. Just figured I'd stop in to report my experience with these guys. I was a bit foolish and didn't do enough research before purchasing, as I know now there are several other online retailers that are much quicker/cheaper than this site. However, I was in a rush, and ordered from these guys thinking it wouldn't be any different than anywhere else. They said it would ship from their HQ (listed on the website as Missouri, I believe) and arrive with 7 days of shipping. Sure enough they didn't supply a tracking number. After a week of waiting for an update on the shipping page (and reading this thread) I emailed the owner and told him I needed a tracking # or I would file a grievance. After that he supplied me with a tracking #, which didn't report anything for several days. After about two weeks (total) the tracking number finally indicated that a package was leaving Hong Kong (far from Missouri). It took about another week and a half for me to actually receive the package. They said I would get a pandora battery with a duo stick that was already turned into a MMS with the latest custom firmware. What I got was an already opened 1GB duo stick (totally empty, no firmware on it, had to be turned into an MMS) and the pandora battery which wouldn't stay in the PSP.
tl;dr version
I did get the pandora battery and the 1GB duo I ordered from them. It took three weeks longer than they said it would, and the memory stick did not have any firmware on it like they claimed. They are certainly very misleading, and they're just acting as a middle man for DealExtreme. Skip these guys and go straight to DealExtreme or some other site. I do have a modded PSP now, but I could have saved money and time by using someone else. |

Well they sent me nothing of what they said they would and it took a month for it to get here so I disputed it with my credit card and I may be making a case against them. If anyone feels that they have been wronged by this company feel free to contact me at DLembesis@mail.bradley.edu |

I ordered the white pandora battery that can switch modes to be a normal or pandora battery, and a 4gig magic memory stick from them.
Shipping took about two weeks. The memory card is a very well made fake. If I hadn't found a post in these forums about checking to see if the card was "magic gate - supported" I would probably have never figured out what my problem was... it works fine as a memory card, but wouldn't do the CFW install.
The battery works. It really does switch modes, and thanks to an extra memory stick I had laying around, the CFW project was completed.
It wasn't a total disaster, but "It wasn't a total disaster." is still a long way from proper service and merchandise. |

Well, I ordered from them and i DO NOT recomend them. Their company name on my Debit card showed DPI Media or something like that. Also, in the email I got, it gave me a link to supposedly follow my order with a tracking number, sure enough on that same page it says "This page will never update your tracking info" I looked up their address on google Earth to make sure it was legit, and it looked legit. They told me it would arrive within 2-7 days. on the 7th day, i emailed them, the guy told me that USPS probably had Delay problems in our area, which of course we didn't cause I got several packages that very day... On the 15th day(When they told me they'd send me a replacement, if it wasnt here by then) I FINALLY got the package. Sure the heck enough, it came all the way from Hong Kong. They have false information about themselves on their site and their customer service and shipping is total crap. I do not recomend dealing with these people. I just can't get a MMS working with the battery, it fits inside my PSP 1001 fine, just that I cant get a MMS workign with it. Anyone know how to make a MMS working with this battery?
I'd give them a 2/10
1. for actually replying to my email.
2. for actually sending the unit out. |

I've seen some people say that PANDORASALES.COM is the devil, too, but my experience was top notch. Maybe I got lucky? Maybe they've decided to change their evil ways? In either case, battery worked like a charm and the mms was authentic Sandisk. Priority mail got my order to me on time. |

Anyone know how to make a MMS working with this battery? | Try going into your PSP's cross media bar (XMB) and check your memory card to see if it is "magic gate - supported". Just highlight the memory stick anyplace it shows up and hit the 3 button (triangle) and click "information". If it says Magic Gate Unknown then it's not supported.
As far as I know you need a totally real memory stick for it to be magic gate supported, but I could be wrong. I'm not an expert, I just know how I got mine working. If it's not magic gate supported then it probably works fine for holding data (my non-supported one does), but I don't think it will install CFW. Here's a link to a good magic memory card making youtube video.
youtube.com/watch?v=aPeJErOjo9k (I don't have enough posts to put links in so I had to take out the beginning... I'm sure you'll figure it out.)
The batteries from these people seem to be legit, even if their "magic memory sticks" are less magical than advertised. So you probably have the important part. You might be forced to go buy another memory stick from a real retail store to get the magic gate support. Goodluck! If it's any consolation it's totally worth it. Once you get it working the CFW PSP will rock. |

i ordered from pandorabatterybuys.com, worst mistake of my life. their terrible.the guy keeps telling me "we dont track packages through USPS" which is BS. due to the comment made on the previous page. i sent him an email telling him that after i did some "research" on PBB.com and found that he dropships from Hong Kong. i told him to cough up the tracking # because i know he keeps em. ill let u know what he says later on. |
