Default PSPBlender A Scam

I was wanting to download some stuff for a roadtrip I was taking and my campus network blocks the ports that torrents and p2p sites use. I found PSP Blender and it looked like a site for direct downloads to various stuff. I pay the money and then it's just a ton of torrent links!!!

I have not had any luck with my PSP. Luckily I got a good deal on it and I get to play MPO online all day. I wish I had found this site first, though. Atleast I've moved now and I can download through torrent but it's definately not worth the $37. Live and learn I guess...

Ooops... looks like this topic was pretty much dead.

Although its an old topic some folks here will see it that don't know about it.

Na, a lot of people fall for these sites it's not even funny. I know a lot of folks who would fall for it aswell. I rather pay an actual private ftp site and not some flashy site like this. There are others out there too which are a no guesser, but people don't use their brains much when it comes to the internet.

yeah, the thing was that it looked so convenient. Plus, the main page they use looks so good that you actually think it's going to be an amazing investment. Then, once you log in it's just some crappy site with links scattered all over. It's definately a rip-off... but it's easy money for whoever came up with it.

The same goes for PSPNERD.COM. In my desperation to find a way to downgrade from 3.51, (before I hit this page), I subscribed to PSPNERD. All I found there were instructions on how to do things, and links to other pages. Even the forums are links to other pages. Later I found this site and realized that all the info (and more) that I paid for in that other site is free here. But please don't judge people like me as "poor stupid bastard" since you don't know my circumstances. I'm not stupid, and want to learn but I don't have tech friends to rely on and this isn't information that you can get on tv. I had already upgraded to 3.51 when I found out about PSP homebrews.

yeah they are scams, but you gotta think, if someone doesnt want to take the time to look at the free sites available, this company has compiled all the information in one place.
Anyone who is a regular on the internet, knows where things can be found and probably hasnt ever paid for any internet service that they need.
Im always tracking people down through public records that can be found at various sites for free, and its probably the same sites that companies like peoplefinder.com use and charge for. But it saves you time, you dont have to know anything about the internet to use it, and all the information can be found in one place.
But saying they have a money back guarantee and custom service available and they dont is BS.
if they were in the good ole usa, we could sue the fuck out of them, but they are a uk based company.

No, you can still sue them in the UK, they're part of some sort of chain of countries which can be sued. I just don't remember what they called it.

I was looking through the site earlier, and i question how somewhat intelligent people fall for it.
read everything thats on their pages...
Here, a testimonial: PSPBlender is the best site ive ever been too. everything is easy to find and its fast. theres a testimonial for you...
but to go into more detail.
the very first pages says:
"The purchase of a membership, however, is not a license to upload or download copyrighted material.
We urge you to respect copyright and share responsibly. Click here for info on using p2p safely."
so they tell you they offer p2p file sharing programs... ok, not bad, perhaps they have some specific program for it.
but:
"If you've visited our site, you'll notice that we prompt users for their email addresses. When we have their address, we send them a variety of sales messages over the next few days. This is far more efficient, as we can deliver a series of sales pitches that build on each other day after day. Don't worry, even if the user makes a purchase several days later you will still get the full $27.75 credit."
PSP Blender PSP Downloads - Movies, Games, Music, Wallpaper and Downloads
Why would a legitimate site send its members spam?
ok, not good enough:
PSP Blender PSP Downloads - Movies, Games, Music, Wallpaper and Downloads
the entire page brings it all together.
they dont offer virus protection..
they dont offer spyware protection
they dont offer trojan protection.
they dont offer anything of substance on their site, its strictly sharing programs.
this sums it up.
