well first off, whatever you do DONT UPDATE and look in the software section for downgrading your PSP, but MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNGRADING A TA-082(which is what you have) then you can run emulators and what not

12-29-2006, 06:21 PM Hi all just got a new psp...i checked the umd drive and i have the letters ic3001 on it....havent turned it on yet to see whaat firmwire i am running as it is still charging. I have no clue about any of this stuff but was wondering what kinda downloads i can use with this psp...thanks

All i was really looking to be able to do was download emulators and play iso games instead of carrying around games all the time...to be honest im not even sure what homebrew and all the other stuff is....like i said i am very new to this whole scene .....so back to my basic question what exactly is my ta-082 2.6 firmwire capable of doing ? thanks
