what software did you use todowngread your ta-084 ? i just got mine and and want to do the same if you could help out with telling me what to look for that would be great.

12-30-2006, 10:48 AM Ehm... I downgraded to 1.50 successfully, from a 2.71 TA-082. The backlight is totally ****ed, though. it stays black as if there were none, and it comes on like every one minute, but if you were to press a button, it shuts off again.
EDIT: Wow I'm sorry, i forgot about the backlight button..

Oh by the way: If you get the same backlight problem.. Press the button with the oval-like object on it, it's next to mute and select.
