I am about to just give up plz help!

I have read and searched thousands of forums for a guide on hend i have a 2.71 ta-082 and am trying to down to 1.5 then up to 3.03 im am stuck and have rebooted probably a thousand times to try to get hend to run all i get is about every 4 times shut down no reboot every other time after that it just freezes and i have to master reboot it i have everything exactly where it needs to go pretty sure I have read 1000's of threads which told me exactly where I'm at so please somebody help me i have messaged about 40 ppl on this site but no responses i put the id and update in the game folder and the dh in the root and the hend in th photo what else am i doing wrong somebody please help me

some how you bricked it. If it is just turning on, not showing anything and turning back off, Its done bud. Go dig a grave for it.

especially now. I know alot of people that have used the new downgrader for the Ta-082 on the older mobo causeing a brick.

I bricked mine probably. Used some downdater and flashed and now PsP wont startup. Only green light is what works so power comes up but nothing else. Im saving for new PsP now. Hopefully i will get one for 100 e .

PSP 2.71 Downgrader to 1.5 with Devhook Easy Installer. DO NOT download this from torrent sites and use it on ta-082. It will brick ur machine.

Dude not to be rude or anything serves you right for torrenting a downgrader there are plenty of links from the great people on the forums.... why not use one of those? Next time if you choos to downgrade use psp's links they are so reliable god bless him lol.... helped me so much

I downloaded Hen-D folders from reputable links. I followed the directions to a T. BTW, I have FW 2.71 w/ TA-082 mobo. When I go to PHOTO/MEM stick I choose the Rand pic. and all that happens is that my PSP freezes. I have to take out the battery to restore it. What do I do now? I've seen and read tutorials. Everybody says to choose HenD in PHOTO/Mem stick. I only get 2 images, RAND and some other pic( I think it's just blank, can't remember). Anyways, nothing in my PHOTO/mem stick says Hen-D. What's goin on? Please help.

speedy not sure whats happening with your psp, but what i would suggest is to downgrade your 2.71 firmware to 1.5 fw and then upgrade to dark_alex's 3.03 oe-a and then small upgrade to 3.03 oe-b, this way you wont have to worry about booting with hen d and using devhook, instead you can just boot direct to iso or hombrew via the main screen

unfortunately i remembered as i was tracing back through the tutorials that you have to have hen d working on your psp in order to downgrade

edit: only suggestion i have on getting hen d to work for you is trace back the steps you took and maybe remove the files you transfered to your psp and redo the process after searching a little bit i found this for you from the user lommer

reset the psp and formatt your memory card after that follow this steps http://www.pspmod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11153 (PSP Filer V2.8)

these are the steps he posted for hen d and he includes a link to it in the tutorial above ^^^^^

hend= #open devhook folder and copy dh folder to the root of your memory card.
#open the folder ms_root and copy everthing iside to the root of you memorycard. click yes to all to replace the files
