no there is no chance mate, borrow 1 or go to a video library or search on ebay good luck

It does not matter if your are noob or not.. You have to format your MS before or after an upgrade or downgrade. Just for safety.

whats the point in formatting the memory stick? i never have...

formatting memory stick doesn't only erase the files, but also it create new folders depend wich firmware you have . it is imoprtant too ,because it makes the memostick compatible..

for example: When formatting memory stick with the 3.03OE_C , GAME150, GAME303 and ISO directories will be automatically created.

i have a gta umd for downgrade.anyone living in VA i can downgrade for them for FREE.i could sell it but i wana keep it just in CASE anything goes wrong

I've just went thru the procedure on this thread and everything worked well.
I'm sure glad for the 'easy installers', I don't think my nerves would have held up if I had to do it manually. Thanks to everyone in the community who makes this possible.

gta unpatched has 2.0 firmware update

Is there a way to find out if the GTA game is the unpatched one or not from the game itself? My friend has an old GTA:LCS but doesn't have the cover anymore, and i'm dying to see if it is the one i need...

Any GTA: LCS that one can use to downgrade with will NOT be a "greatest hits" version. However, I can't say for sure if all non-greatest hits will be be usable.

The best way to check is to pop it in and see if it comes with the v2.0 update.

I was one of those idiots who only too happily upgraded upon recieving his PSP. Two weeks later DaX came out with a downgrader and I had the happy pleasure of travelling 118km on public transit (NOT greyhound, actually going from city to city with different local transit systems) and across international borders to get my hands on that specific version of GTA:LCS for it.

If you ask really nicely and live in Vancouver B.C., I might let you use it
