3.03 OE-C Problem

I Upadated to 3.03 OE-C today this is my first experience in psp modding, and everytime i run a game that uses psp 1.50 properties i have problems mainly that thye screen turns black every time I push a button, i can still play umds fine but I can't get homebrews to run

has anyone else had this problem

if so can it be fixed

also when i downgraded my psp to 1.50 it had similar problems

ok well go look in ur game saves and look for a "save" called grand theft auto exploit loader....dont delete all ur saves there no point and it wont do shit..if you do find the "save" delete it and tell me whats happens

nothing deleted it earlyier cause im only borrowing the game, so i delete the gta saves

well are you sure you looked..... YOU dont make the "save" the psp made it when u went from 1.5 to 3.03OEC.. go check again

try recovering to 1.5 and reinstalling 3.03oec.

yes i deleted the gta saves, i just checked , under save data utility i have Bleach : HtS 3, Naruto Naruttomet portable, 3 Maverick hunter X files, 2 Tekken Files, and a sonic rivals file. I am currently trying to run Pgen 1.70 and put it in correctly, the program will load but every time i push a button the screen goes blank for 1-2 minutes then goes back to displaying, the system still runs during these black screens becuase sound still plays and i can mov more but every time i push a button it just displays nothing, when i downgraded to 1.50 i also had this problem with everything the main psp menus and programs, but when i updated to 3.03 OE-A and then to -C then menus were fine on the Psp menus but when i tried to run PGEN it acted like i described

ok i'm going to recove to 1.5 but what if it does as i said it did again

i can't use recovery on mine becasue it will only display the recovery menu for less than a second, can someone post images of the recovey menu maybe tha would be very helpful

well im back 1.50 again this time without problems here so this is good i should be fine now

Hmm good to hear, just a simple question...what firmware are you using now?

all you had to do is to change the kernel to 1.50 and all your emulators well run

so upgrade straight to 3.030E-C after its done , enter recovery mode by holding R trigger when you start the psp.

at recovery menu go to configuration/Game folder Homebrew change : (currently kernel 1.50)

yes but the recovery menu wouldn't display, so i had to go with hope to the third option, but it works fine now on 3.03 OE-C thanks for the help

to show it, put your psp in sleep mode, then take it out, you'll have to do this over and over...or wait till the screen comes back up and don't touch anything while you remember all that shows. either way. that's what I had to do when it happened to me.

bla bla bla, i had that issue, ur prolly putting ur stuff in the wrong folder, there are 3 folders, "Game" "Game150" and "Game303" the numbers represent the firmware, if it was meant to be on 1.50 guess where it goes
