Am running Dark alex' 3.02 oe-b on a ta-081 at present, Just wondering what the latest fw is, And if theres any easy installers to upgrade it?? Have a few new games which don't seem to run on this so am hoping an upgrade to the latest will sort it. I have had a scout about the forums without finding any clear cut guides. Any help appreciated

yeah...there's 3.03 oe-c out and there's 3.10 oe a and a'. People like to stay at 3.03 oe-c because all the prx plugins work and changing your xmb icons and shit is really easy...there is an easy installer for both of these, just google it...

dont google... google is your enemy

mate there is no such thing as the ta081 mobo.. you must have a ta082. well dax has come out with 3.10oe but as you can't change the icons on it(just the icons, you can change everything else, like the battery bar, etc), so most people use 3.03OE-C

GTA:LCS downgrade region? here is a easyinstaller a tut for 3.03OEC

3.03 oec is now up and running on my psp. Got a problem (cyclic redundancy error) when transfering iso's over from disc or pc, But i think it's more of a pc problem then anything else. It may need a clean up

yes there is ta-079 (first one) then ta-080 & ta-081 which are generally to pal regions or sometimes USA, and the ta-082 was originally for japan (japan already had 1.51 and 1.52 psp with ta-082) but was soon released in america with 2.5/2.6 until the lastest ones, doesnt supports 1.50 bootstrap, modchips wont work... and ta-086 which are the newest got an upgrade in the wifi thing (wont overheat so much and wont eat much battery life) and is compatible with hardware modding a.K.a Modchip.

edit: the cyclic redundancy shit is that you got your file corrupted,
happens me alot when burning things into dvd, when I try to open a file gives me that error

If you dumped the umd, do it again
if you downloaded it, you will know what to do, but you know its illegal
if you have a working backup, use it
