3.10 OE A video help

hello

i have 3.10 OE-A on my psp. i downloaded a google video and copied it to the video folder in X:/PSP/VIDEO..when i go to videos on my psp..it comes up as "there are no videos"..
is there somewhere else that i need to be placing the videos? i assumed that the new fw said that you don't need to rename the files anymore to that M4VXXXXXX.mp4 stuff...
so basically im asking where to put videos you download from google video on your psp so you can watch them on the psp from 3.10 OE-A

What format is the video?

avc .mp4 from google video
i put it in the MP-ROOT/100ANV01/MAQ00001.mp4 to no avail..
