most popular firmware

Hi all, new to this psp mod's. I finally have the "guts" to mod mine. What is the most popular firmware that people are up/downgrading to and why? Of course it's your own personal opinion that i'm looking.

3.03oe-c - customization, etc. etc. ( what I use )

3.40oe-a - you can still customize but Its a little more difficult, but It has better PSX Compatibility then 3.03oe-C


the majority of the people here will run one or the other.. but yeah Its more your preference, since they both can run Emulators.. just 3.40oe-a has the better PSX compatibility.

the proper order of operations: check current firmware, check motherboard version, review "ultimate downgrader" thread, follow directions based on your varibles, install custom firmware (download from psp-hacks or pspupdates), enjoy the mod scene and knowing that fact that youre best friend cant play Final Fantasy 7 on his psp, while u can.
