:D downgraded to 1.5 now what :P

okies I downgraded to 1.5 but here's the thing this is what I wanna do with my psp so what should I upgrade 2?

Play shows I record with my freevo (actually winxp/gbpvr) with full psp resolution 480x272. Btw is there anyway to have black bars on the side when it's not a widescreen recording instead of stretching it? I might wanna start using the H.264 codec (if someone can point me to a thread would be good)

Play my old psx games hehe I knew I should keep em around (my ps2 been f-ed up for a while laser issues so I couldn't play cd's mental note: fix laser)
Also it it true you can only save one psx game at a time?

play some homebrew stuff, and actually I'm looking for word editior as well lol Hey there are some IR keyboards out there (hint hint to the homebrew writers) Laptops are a drag to shlepp around even my 2lbs pda workpad. I'm writing my first book what can I say.

So with all that to do out there is 3.40 oe-a the best choice for me?
Also where is the thread with instructions on how to upgrade once you get to 1.5

upgrade to 3.40 oe-a

use the easy installer,
look in "Custom firmware" and there are tutorials all over the place
