wow I semibricked earlier..

alright, so I was using customized icons on a 3.03oe-C firmware and I got tired of them. I decided to go back to the stock icons and in the process I wanted to replace the files for the Internet Browser because I wanted to mess around with it, so I go and replace the files while backing up the important things and I guess when I came back my PSP was all white background and the stock icons were there the icon graphics were all f'ed up.. so I restored to default settings and that solved that, before you know it every UMD I put in started to hang and the only thing I could really get at was the recovery menu.. shit so I semibricked somewhere while messing around in the flash0.. ran the recovery 1.50 eboot from the recovery menu and bam I was back at 1.50 without a problem.. decided to jump the bandwagon and now Im usin 3.40oe-A

but yeah DON'T mess around with the flash0 to much if you aint careful.. I just about blew my top when the thing was semibricked, thank god for recovery menu, and PSPMOD.com.. I really thought I was in the hole on this one

been through that when i tried to flash icons on 3.40 oe-a its scary as hell but i know that i could recover it since it wasnt a downgrade or update.

I didn't read anything above this. But semi-bricks are no big deal at all dude. All you have to do is replace the screwed up file, and everything is normal again...

yeah, Thanks for the support.. and why the hell you gonna ask about being banned in one of my topics, just PM a moderator.

I dont know which file did it, but I was using a full theme. Started to replace some files mainly the topmenu,impose, etc. I come out of recovery and It was a white screen/silver icons/white text and the icon graphics were all pixelated and chopped.. let alone that the UMD kept hanging up during a game start, but now all is well and shes purring like a kitten again
