Downgrade 2.61 using lumines

i have a 2.61 psp without the TA-082 motherboard, can i use lumines as i already own the correct version to use 2.62>>3.5>>1.5>>3.40oe?

2.71 is GTA, Lumines is for 3.5, if you already have the game then just upgrade to 3.5 then go from there.

To the thread starter, upgrade to 2.71, then find out what motherboard you have, then use the correct 2.71 downgrader for your motherboard.

You do not need GTA, or Lumines, you can downgrade without a game.

Obviously the late nights are playing with my eye sight as my firmware isnt 2.61 but 2.81, i have read the sticky about downgrading and it says that there i am unable to downgrade, is this still the case?

Edit: not to worry finally found a page exactly what i was looking for..
