3.52 M33-2 (whats with it?)

Ok so my lucky ass had a 2.01 in that swap over board, i upgraded to 2.71, then downgraded to 1.50 then back up to the 3.52 M33-2, but im finding no help for it anywhere. And i dunno what exactly im gonna do with it, cuz i dunno what is compatible, I know my homebrew a bit but coding isnt my strong suit at all, so i gotta stick with the complicated yet basic basics ya know? So ppl if ya got 3.52 M33-2 runnin and ya love it, I just wanna know what can be done with it, I want to put up a faq for it too(credit due will be givin) so i can help other ppl like myself with this CFW,

What you can do with 3.52 M33/ M33 -2

Set clocking speed to (20,100,200,222,266,300,333),in both XMB and UMD/ISO Modes,

Run Iso files off mem stick,

Automatically enable flash and wma from the recovery menu, without the use of net,

Running your Homebrew while having the latest(but not really the greatest) Firmware on ur psp, alowing the use of the psx emulator.(added by Dukepoth),

i know thats why i gave myself a lil kick in the ass lol, i hope i can get this baby to grow so noobz everywhere with 532M33 and M33-2 can get all the info they need without the hours of webserfing that ends nowhere! Help me out when ya can!

Atm there is no reason to be at 3.52 as no game that i can think of requires that to run. And everything it can do 3.40 can do, so its sorta a false upgrade (doesnt open any windows, and personnelly hinders your homebrew (less compatability i think :/))

I say go to 3.40 its just well better lol

really?, if you could be a bit more specific on what im missin out on let me know, and i seriously might consider switching over, the psone emulator built in is what i was liking mot but it keeps a freezin on my tomb raider

Hmm, I reckon if your going to make a statement like that you need to make an accurate comparison..

There's one (IMO) HUGE benefit to 3.52 M33-2...This being the functional NO-UMD options...

Now, before you make the comment that having a UMD in the driver really isn't that bad let me give you one example of its HUGE benefit.

As I posted a few days ago, a friend of my sons has a PSP with a faulty UMD laser....After much messing I managed to downgrade it. On 3.40 OE-x he would still be screwed as it will not read a disc consistently...

On 3.52 M33-2 there's no need. It works 100% without a disc and a PSP that would otherwise be useless is now being hammered...

Just one example I know, but for me its the difference between black and white...

i see, but that cant be the only comparison, i just want the full potential of my psp to shine ya know, sonys orig FW is only able to do what it is meant to do. And most homebrews only due what the proggers want it to be able to do.

i dont want a homebrew that doesnt just do what it was meant to do, but a homebrew thats meant to do everthing it can do. take m33 for example apparently irshell 3.0 doesnt work for it but 3.61 does, well....THAT doesnt work for me, i want a homebrew that works with EVERYTHING, but thats a long ways away if ever so all i want right now, is what is the absolute best right now. Hands down. Is that possible?

iRshell 3.0 and 3.6 are the same besides bugfixes to help 3.52M33 be compatible..

It's up to you bro you can go down to 3.40OE-A and back up to 3.52M33 anytime, with no downgrading to 1.50.. I personally haven't found anything wrong or incompatible with 3.52M33.. But if you really need iRshell 3.0 then go to 3.40OE-A.
