Well, I did something wrong with XMB's and stuff. So I went in and formatted my memory stick and then restored default settings. Now it turns on, shows a black screen for a moment then turns off again. Also, when i tried recovery mode, it shows it for a second then turns off again.

Is there a way to fix this (even if it does mean buy a new memory stick)?

i take it you were messing with flash0, if you were i take it you didnt backup the folder.. If you cannot get into recovery mode, you will need to use pandoras battery

is it a black screen with a green power light for several seconds?

how did you get it working again if you didnt have a usb? Add your solution to help others.. Its more likely your pc's problem, otherwise relfash your psp, this might help but not sure.

OK, well one; I didn't reflash. two; i have a mac. three; i help r for recov mode for longer than usual and kept pressing the down button. recove mode stayed. then i found flash1 worked. so then, out of desperation, i tried flash0. it came up on my mac. and now it's staying.
Sorry if this doesn't help anyone. but recov mode rules!

Great, and now my problem's even worse. I can't use normal USB mode so I can't put ISO's back on and also, it won't read the memory stick so I can't use music, videos etc.
    PLEASE HELP!

sounds like after you gotten things fixed, your memory stick is not doing so well.

Try another memory stick and see if it all works fine.
