You're going need to downgrade to 1.50. Then install custom firmware. The only way to downgrade 3.51 and up is to use pandora's battery which can be made by a homebrew enabled psp or bought from somewhere.

09-30-2007, 05:19 AM PSP at 3.51 or higher can only be downgraded via Pandora Battery, no other option at this point, maybe in the near future.
PSP History;
1st 2.71 Bricked->1.50 Pandora->3.52M3-4.
2nd 3.40->3.50->1.50 via Lumines->3.40OE-A->1.50 Recovery->3.52M33-4.
