psp can be any region, US, EU, J. what firmware are you running? and is it a psp 1000 or 2000?

Just wondering is there any difference in flashing a japanese PSP slim w/ the new custom firmwares. And also would the PSP menus and all that good stuff turn to english after the flash ?
