How could I check the version?
What does it do actually since I've updated to 3.71 m33-2?
I tried google and it said "allows for 1.50 homebrew to be used on 3.71 M33 "
I dont get it.

3.71M33 does not come with it pre-installed, and is independent of it, running off the 3.XX kernel. If you've used CFW before, you would notice all CFW has had either the 1.50 kernel or the kernel it was based on (3.40, 3.51, 3.52 etc.) Adding this gives you more support with homebrew, because some homebrew uses the 1.50 kernel.
