Ok, so I got 2 PSP's, one is mine and one is my brothers. His one was still on ver1.50 so updated to 3.71 M33 no problem. Mine was on ver 2.80, followed some instructions and bricked my PSP YAY!!!. Next mission was to make Pandoras Battery. Purchased another PSP original battery and did the deed with the old one. Made the Pandora mem stick and successfully downgraded and then upgraded my PSP. Now I feel untouchable. I tell my cousin, no probs, I'll downgrade yours and sort it. He has FW ver 3.11. I don't have Lumines and and formatted and remade my PSP pandora mem stick a thousand times and all I get is a blank screen when the mem stick with pandoras (modded) battery is in. With a normal battery it boots up normally. What the hell am I doing wrong. PS all the PSP's are Phatty's. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me, been at this for 3 days straight now and I'm losing my mind, kids have forgotten what I look like and I'm sure the wife's now having an affair.

Well if it isn't booting, then the files are not properly on the Mem stick.
Heres what you should do. Download both of these files and extract them.

There in that thread. Then follow the below instuctions your Mem stick is created.

( X )represent the DRIVE of your memstick>....

from CMD do this to your memstick

    mspformat X:

    remove the memstick

    insert memstick

place the KD and Registry folder and the file MSIPL.bin in the ROOT of the memstick

    then remove the memstick

    place the memstick back in

check and make sure that all folder is in there. and the file MSIPL.bin

    then from CMD again run

    msinst X msipl.bin

Thanks, tried it and on the last on instruction I'm getting the following:

    PSP MS IPL Installer
    Load IPL Code msipl.bin
    Can't open msipl.bin

I'm guessing it shouldn't be saying that!
