So I hardmodded my slim battery and successfully installed 3.71m33-3 on my Daxter PSP thanks to your site. My question is, Would I be able to use that same battery to install custom firmware on a friends Phat PSP?

Yup it should mostly work even though Ive never tried it.
But there are rarely any chances of bricking.
You should give it a go.

If it is your slim battery it wont work as the slim battery wont be able to boot up the fat psp.
If you search you'll never have to ask questions again! GOOGLE

..*SHouldve picked up the Phone..Couldve been sony :S*.

Slim batteries do not work on the "fat" psp.

Only thing you could do is go get a "fat" battery, and go get the pandora for 3.XX kernel, and make it via the slim.

But yes, you can use the same memory stick files, you just need a different battery.
