Would you use that memory stick with 3.71m33-4 update on with a pandoras battery or do you need a different software???

EDIT: My previous guide was flawed and I apologize for anyone's wasted time. As far as I know the mspformat tool is /required/ to correctly partition the memory stick, and is not compatible with Windows Vista. If anyone knows of an alternate method that fully emulates the function of mspformat and works in Vista, let me know.
I know there's a billion guides already but I felt all of them were overcomplicated, redundant, and inflexible. So here's a super easy way to make a magic memory stick on XP with despertar v3 & 3.71m33-4 update.
Download: msm.rar (24mb).
Extract it and launch a command prompt (start -> run -> 'cmd'), then navigate to the extracted directory. Run these 3 commands (replace X with your memory card's drive letter):
- mspformat X (If you are using your PSP's USB connection to write to the memory stick, you must disconnect and reconnect after this step)
- xcopy /KE ms\* X:\
- msinst X MSIPL.BIN
Viola!

So this allows you to make a Magic MS in Vista?
And extract to where, exactly?
Since I have OFW, have the Pandora Battery and just need the MS. :P
Great. Finally. :P
And I'm not understanding the
xcopy /KE ms\* X:\
thing. Lol.

I did....
My drive letter is J.
It says:
File not found - *
0 file(s) copied
looks nice and quick. good job.
Ok, now on the last part with msipl.bin, it says this:
PSP MS IPL Installer
Load IPL code C:\msm\msipl.bin
241664 bytes(59 block) readed
Target DRIVE is 5
Check partion Sector
Cannot open device \\.\PHYSICALDRIVE5
Can't read partation sector
Well, I put msinst and msipl.bin in the msm folder.
So this is it:
C:\msm\msinst J C:\msm\msipl.bin
Just tried it on a XP.
I get:
Error 0x000000000 in DeviceIoControl.
