Extra Folder and Files in Winrar Archive for CSO files

Good day:

I have a slim and phat with cfw 3.71m33-3 and when I dl cso and iso I dump them in the iso folder and they seem to work fine expcet one or two. I was wondering why there are other files/folder in the archive and do you have to put them on the ms? Do I have specific features with this cfw that I don't have to worry with these files? ie, dev hook (i am not really sure what this is).

Is there a good tutorial on what I can do and how things work with this cfw. Like 1.5 stuff.

If you want to get rid of any unnessesary files back up your MS on your comp.
and reformat your memory stick in settings on your PSP.

I was wondering about the cso downloads with more that the cso/iso file. They seem to run fine with just the cso but why do the authors include some other files and folder within the winrar file?

What do you mean?
There is PSP_GAME, UMD_DATA.BIN and inside PSP_GAME is USDIR and SYSDIR which should be there.

just ignore them only cso and iso work on that ISO folder
