Get a Pandoras Battery and MMS. Use them to upgrade to CF. Once you have CF you can do pretty much whatever you want.

01-30-2008, 11:32 PM My psp is running the base 2.82 firmware that is forcably downloaded into your system with any new game.
I want to mode my system so I can play emulators and other homebrew stuff but Im very n00bish and I dont know where to begin.
Can anyone help me?

go here and create an acc. then download the on whichever fits your description and since you said u are on 2.82, i suggest you go to the downloads page on this site and get the 3.03 ofw and install, then downgrade.

02-12-2008, 03:37 PM you can downgrade with a battery...but with your situation it would be easier to do it with a copy of grand theft auto liberty city stories. here's how it works: when loading up grand theft auto on the psp it is possible to pick a hacked save game file that will allow the booting of unsigned code temporarily...at this time you boot up a downgrader and get to ver. 1.5. So you need a copy of gta and the 3.03 downgrader...google that and get back to us if you don't understand.
02-12-2008, 03:46 PM hey guys i'm really stuck in a big big problem.....got my psp slim 2 weeks back...it was already modified running cfw 3.71m33....i had iso files running on it.....however i sum how having no idea abt this stuff used the network update option and got ofw 3.9...i now cant run any iso games......frustrated...urghhhh!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!! !!wut sud i do?
