Ive just bought my psp slim + lite. It is currently running on the 3.90 firmware that i downloaded via network update.
I need help hacking! How do i install the custom firmware 3.90M33 ????

Use a Pandora battery. Look under guides to make one.

with 3.90 i though making pandoras are out. you have to buy one now.

I was going to make a pandoras battery, but it said i had to already have some custom firmware installed?

the guide i posted will be fine mate - there are other guides which say you need custom firmware installed to make

Only soft modding, you can still hardmod. They just made a thing on the newer slim+lite psps themselves to keep people from softmodding pandoras for some reason. That, and I guess there are a couple of batteries going around that are supposed to be hardmod proof as well.
