    Hey,

I just bought a 2GB stick and upgraded to 3.90 M33-2. I want to know what I can do with it! If somebody could help me with my options such as what types of games I could play, where I could find them. Other cool things would help as well.

I just dl'ed the 3.xx EMU pack, so I got that ready. I'm not that worried about ROM's, but how for example would I play my games using no-UMD? What types of programs do I need? I'm sick of bringing UMD's places.

    Thanks

You can play ISOs and CSOs by putting them in your ISO folder in the root of your memory stick. You can find the games on google. You don't need any programs. The only things you need are a USB cable and a computer. You can also further customize what your PSP can do by going into the Recovery Menu which is done by fully turning your PSP off and back on while holding the R button. Also, by pressing select you can adjust things such as what the cpu clocks out at for the XMB or your game. There are tons of different things you can do depending on whether you have a fat psp or a slim one. But just so you know, with a 2GB memory stick, you're still going to be carrying around those UMD's. For people like you and me who don't like carrying stuff around, 8GB is the only way to go. And that's only because the 16GB still cost a ton and the 32GB isn't out yet.

Really? Crap, I thought that 2GB would definitely be enough. Oh well, I'm mainly in it for a few ISO's, some ROM's, and maybe a sweet theme. That should cut it right?

Right now, I don't even have an ISO folder, can I just make it? All I have in my root folder is "PSP"

You can get the complete folder structure for custom firmware, just format the memory stick using the PSP. But if you can't be bothered or because the MS is Magic and you want to keep it that way, here is the complete structure:

    ISO
    ---VIDEO
    MP_ROOT
    MUSIC
    PICTURE
    PSP
    ---COMMON
    ---GAME
    ---GAME150
    ---GAME390
    ---SAVEDATA
    ---SYSTEM
    ---THEME
    VIDEO
Don't know what's up with everyone and there PSP Firmware life as there sigs, but hey, why not, I don't have any fancy quotes or shiny picture :-P

    2.80 -> 3.52 -> 3.70 -> 3.71 -> 1.50 -> 3.52 M33-4 -> 3.71 M33-4 -> 3.80 M33-5

Downgraded and installed Custom Firmware on 4 PSPs so far...

Well, you definately have enough for ROMs and themes but ISOs? With a 2GB your not going to fit very much because ISOs for most PSP games are around 800 megabytes to 1.5 gigabytes. There are some exceptions like Crush which is around 600 megabytes but most games are bigger. I had a 2 GB stick until it got stolen and then decided how much I hated carrying around UMDs so I got a n 8 GB. But yeah, ROMs and themes you're fine on but ISO's not so much.

I have a 4GB Memory Stick and I'd just barely have enough space left if I was to put all ISOs from the games I play plus any apps... actually save quite a bit of space just turning it into an eboot.

You can turn the ISO's into eboots? Is there a way to reduce the ISO size, thus far the games I've been getting are about 1.5 GB :/
