Need help on upgrade

So i have version 3.71 M33 since i just pandora my psp yesterday, and i tried dl version 3.90 M33-2 but when i put it on my psp then goto it, it gives me a "can not load game" error msg. so a lil help plz

upgrade to 3.90m33 first...then run 3.90m33-2
