    Sup all,

Being new to the scene and recently getting a hold of a PSP slim with stock firmware at 3.80. I would like to put custom firmware on but not sure on how to go about it. For example downagrading firmware etc.

I have purchase the pandora battery and magic memory stick with custom firmware on it 3.88 M33 on it. Can i go straight to this firmware because as far as it is reporting is that all that is required is to insert the stick and battery and turn the system on and when prompted to press x to begin the flash. Is this the correct process because certainly I would hate to make a brick out of it.

Is that the most recent firmware?

    Thanks all for the info.

I believe the most current CFW is 3.90 M33-3, and I believe 3.95 M33 is in development.

I'm in the process of updating mine to 3.90 M33-3, I'm having trouble getting my NES and SNES Emulators to run. Hopefully this will work, but it's probably something I'm doing wrong.

What are the differences in the firmware versions because for what I see there is different ones.

    3.80 is stock
    3.80 M33
    3.80 M33-5
    3.90 M33-3

The one you have is 3.80 M33-5. Can I upgrade right to that?
