    Yeah, i know...

After searching the internet for almost three days, looking for ways to either switch or downgrade, I have decided to join this forum as most of the people are helpful and from what I have seen can point people in the right direction.

I have a PHat PSP with Original Firmware 3.80. I'm am not going to upgrade to the next one because that is EVEN MORE impossible to downgrade than 3.80. I bought a Datel Battery Tool for PSP, charged it and all, but it doesn't work. The instructions say you need "a memory stick with the correct applications". What are these "applications"? Am I able to downgrade or am I stuck for good?

Please help me! I am really keen to put a SNES emulator on my PSP because I luv SNES!

For your firmware (OFW 3.80) the only way you can flash over to a CFW is to use pandora

The applications for the memorystick are the files you need so that the PSP can boot from the memory card (bringing you into the pandora menu), instead of from the battery, but you also need a pandora battery.

... and from my opinion i wouldnt go to downgrade id rather flash over directly to an updated CFW with pandora

If you need the files for your memorystick (to make it into a magic stick to be able to run the pandora menu)

    here are the files:

    rapidshare.com/files/75256518/Pandora_Files_-_Move_to_the_root_of_your_memory_stick.rar.html

just copy this address into your webbrowser and download it, should be around 71mb big

btw after youve copied them into the memory stick you will need to move partitions.

If you need help on that (its the least problem lol) just ask lol
