Hi all, thanks in advance for any help.

I tried, and failed to install a custom skin on my PSP slim 2000 cfw 4.01 M33

I followed through a guide that told me how to replace the files in the flash0.

    1. Backup flash0; I have this in a folder on my HDD
    2. Load into recovery mode >advanced>toggle usb (flash0)
    3. Replace the files on flash0 with those in the skin pack
    4. exit and reboot PSP.

Seemed easy enough to me, updated the files with no trouble, quit from recovery mode, and now my PSP wont boot. I _don't_ have a Pandora (recovery) battery as I was stupid and didn't prepare myself enough.

Now when i try to view flash0 it comes up in my computer saying please install disk in drive (x) and has 0 bytes of space.

I can still get into the M33 recovery menu, but I'm at a complete loss what to do next to fix my psp.

    Please help!

Use Pandora & memstick to install CFW again then go from there.

I would if I had them, but I have no pandora battery or MMS... Guess I'll need to pay someone with those to do it for me.

Is there is any way to restore the flash0 using the M33 recovery mode?

Can you access recovery mode? If so, toggle flash0 and copy your backed up flash

Don't touch the flash ram if you can help it. That guide is crap.

The CXMB plugin allows you to load a custom theme from the memory card.

So when you enter flash 0 it says that it has 0 bytes?

NO, using someone else's flash0 just leaves it like a brick, even if you pandora it, I think. I could be wrong though...
