My Newest Bricked PSP I Bought Seemed To Unbrick Fine And All W/ Pandora And Catb's MMS Maker,

Problem Is I Had Dumped My NAND From My GOW Psp Slim And Accidently Restored It On This Other Phat PSP Version TA-79 It Says.

Now Everytime I Try And Go Through Pandora And Load CFW Or OFW It Justs Sits For Hours At "Formatting Flash 1" And Never Goes Any Farther.

I Have Tried Re-making The Memory Stick On 3 Different Dou Cards And Under Both XP And Vista W/ No Luck....

Any Help Would Really Be Appreciated Please!!!

    Thanks In Advance

I Finally Got Flash 1 To Format And Install FW Properlly By Using DC3 ELF Loader 0.2 And Nand Tool 0.3 By Re-partitioning The Flash Tables.

It Loads The FW Fine But Then When I Restore The Battery And Try And Boot The PSP It Does Nothing - I Can Put The Pandora Back In And It Boots Up Fine.

I Think A Question I Have Is Do Phat PSP's Only Work With Certain Battery mAh Ratings?

Becuase I Got The PSP W/ Out A Battery Becuase The Guy Lost It - And I'm Wondering If Maybe I Bought The Wrong Battery.

This PSP Is A: TA-79 Phat

The Battery I Bought For It Is A: 3.6V 1800mAh

(I Can't Test Other Batterys Becuase The Other 3 PSP's I Have Are Slims)

    Thanks For Any Help!

    Try this:
    1-remove battery from PSP.
    2-plug in AC adaptor.
3-turn on PSP and wait to complete boot.
4-insert the battery and convert from service mode to normal mode.
    5-good luck.

The Only Problem Is That It Only Turns On AT ALL With The PANDORA Battery I Have - With The Normal Battery (Thats Why I Asked If It Needed A Different One) It Doesn't Even Give A Green Light - But When Both The Normal Battery And The AC Are Pluged In It Gives An Orange Charge Light.

    But It Still Won't Boot.

Weird As Hell, Please Help As I Am Fixing This PSP For A Friend And He Wants It Back - !!!
